Was he considered an option at LSU this go around? I know he turned LSU down initially.

Not him! Thanks but no thanks. I will also point out that college OC > NFL TE coach and even more so college OC > college TE coach. If he actually came to LSU at anything less than an OC, he would be taking a few giant steps backward.

Doing very well for himself yet the groupthink message board posters will say he sucks

several Bama fan were happy to see him go, but some thought he got better towards the end of the season.

i was indifferent and even open to the idea of Rees, but not after weighing all the pros and cons.

i mean i thought he'd do better than position coach, even if it's the NFL. still young and a nice trajectory going for him. we just didn't want him as OC at LSU. he has enough history to show he's kind of average as an OC.

what did he do at ND and even Bama that really wows you as an OC?

Can the combination of Hankton & Sloan get this done at a high level?

I'd almost rather try that than reach and/or (worse) overcommit dollars and terms.

That said, CBK has a plan no doubt, so I'll let him do his job and I'll read about it here lol.

Pro game is so much of an easier life. Thankfully he went that route and didn’t want to come back to Kelly.
