I've always prefered they hire a coach who runs an NFL system, so Brady (+ the familiarity) is a no-brainer.

Brady ran Joe moorehead’s system, mainly. Some of the route concepts came from the Saints though. It was a very college offense, which may be part of the problem of going to the nfl & adapting

As an offensive minded coach I trust Kelly to make the right choice if it is Brady He can interview him and see if he has it.

You guys are dreaming if you think he's coming back

1) Kelly would have to give him complete control

2) He would have to get over his dislike of college ball he already said he will never go back

Maybe he just didn't like Orgeron? The hates recruiting was to knight for Orgeron.

Aranda ran away from Orgeron also.

He's not made for college ball clearly. Has BK ever handed his offense over to someone to give full control? I know he lets guys run it but they run his offense and scheme. I think you guys need to lower expectations on the OC. Best you can hope there is a young guy who can recruit out of his mind.

Yeah cause they were just as good in 2018 without Joe Brady
One big difference in 2019 was the WRs were catching the ball consistently. That was due to Joe Brady's 1000 catch summer drill. They dropped the ball alot in 2018. I would love to have him back to coach WRs and 3rd down calls.

They’ve also dropped the ball a ton since Brady left.

It’s fairly obvious, to even the most casual observer, that Mickey Joseph has done nothing to actually coach up the WRs and Brady has been sorely missed in that department.

Well that didn’t work out too well. He’s not HC material in pro or college at this time. He should have stayed at LSU and took the pay raise he was offered to stay and build his resume more.

Brady fired after a season and a half, lol. Keep making excuses about no QB though.

Dude had to be groomed by Ensminger, but continue to trash Ensminger. Brady on his own has yet to be determined. So far he has been fired immediately.

Burrow had 4 TDs and almost 400 passing in the bowl game prior to Brady, so Ensminger showed it could be done. Absolutely Brady helped, but keep shitting on Ensminger.

Brady only has one good season as an assistant with 2019 LSU. I look forward to his next adventure.

Brady was only brought in because Ensminger sucked

The offense changed immediately overnight. There was no grooming lol. Joe Brady is the best assistant at any position lsu has ever had. Ensminger is a nobody outside of LSU fans who like him because he talks like a baw

The talent level on the field is EVERYTHING. Great players make great coaches. Not the other way around. I submit into evidence Jamie’s Winston, Cameron, Joe Burrow. Their coaches were thought at the time to be world beaters. Where are they now? And don’t cite Jimbo. He has not lived up to expectations.

Against a G5 team

He had 0 TDS and 184 yards Vs Bama after a buy week.

Yep, I agree. Steve Ensminger was terrible even with great players
