Sure in SEC fans minds that’s the case.

Nationally the view would be they are yet another school from the south who has been dominating the recruiting rankings and gets every rankings break for the last 5 years despite getting dominated in at least one game yearly.

They shouldn’t even be in the playoffs much less national champions

Cincinnati obviously is the G5 and pollsters went out of their way to underrate Michigan all year. It literally took the last regular season game of the year for them to get serious talk

That whole week they played Bama I kept on saying “if they lose they should be out” and the rest of the board said “sorry, they’re in regardless”
