People with no kids have a shite ton of independent wealth built up so when they hit their mid 60s they retire. And then still have money to move into a community and then pay an orderly to wipe their arse at the end.

I had a great aunt who went to a nursing home after her husband died. She was a sweet old lady but lived a sad existence in that nursing home for 8 years. Her husband and her couldn’t have children, so her nephew had to take care of her.
