Orgeron is no organizational leader. He handed a lie-of-a-resume to a gullible hiring-group and incompetent athletic director. He did it to the idiots at Ole Miss too. BOTH UNIVERSITIES FIRED THE RUBE!!

It certainly seems like you do care. He is probably going to end up doing media, which he is good at. Also how is he making it about him? Hate is just such a huge waste of time & energy. He's gone, move on. Of course, this board hated/s Coach DiNardo, Coach Lavall, Coach Miles & most recently, CPM, a Baseball HOF coach. Not FAKE NEWS, OLD NEWS.

From the comments in this thread, you would never guess a few years ago he won coach of the year and had the greatest season in the sport’s history.

He's an ex-coach. Doing the media rounds is 100% appropriate. It's also why the idiots who thought LSU would try to get out of the buyout should never be taken seriously on any subject.

He drove this program off a cliff since 2019. We will always love the program more than any coach, which is the way it should be. The fact that people still come here to defend O is completely asinine. The dude was compensated handsomely on the way out. He lost his way and was never going to find it again.

Asinine is people stating over and over that he is contractually obligated to do what he is doing. What is also asinine is morons not realizing what is being said and crying about people defending an ex-coach for doing interviews about former players, when he has to do it.

Agreed. I replied to a different poster in the other Coach O thread and it turned out to be anchored. Just copying and pasting it here…
I don’t disagree with what you’re saying here but it has to be acknowledged also that he let it go to shite and it was absolutely time for him to go. Where I disagree with many on here is the level of hate for the guy. We did have the greatest college football season ever on his watch. In my mind, 2019 makes the two years that followed worth it. Greatest season and greatest college QB ever. As an added bonus that QB is continuing to bring greatness to the field and joy to his fans. Worth it to me.
As bad as he let things go toward the end that special season makes it easy for me not to hate O. I’m just happy he’s gone and thrilled with the Kelly hire. I think Kelly will get it turned around and we will be back to our winning ways pretty quickly.
All of these factors considered, I’m content with where LSU is right now and I bear no ill will toward the guy.
