I’m literally pulling out of Lowes with an EGO 56V 16” string trimmer. I was trying to cut grass this morning and I’m finally fed up with my old Husqvarna. I have had it worked on multiple times the last couple of years and spent a few hundred dollars trying to keep it going. I am tired of trying to keep the bastard running and I’m definitely tired of yanking on the pull rope.
Let’s see how this bad boy does. I’m anxious to see how the auto string feeder and winding works.
ETA: Just finished cutting grass. I charged her up while I mowed. Then did my weed eating. This thing rocks. I used it on the ‘slower’ speed mostly. And it did fantastic.
It is going to take some getting used to, though. I find that it works better going right to left. The angle of the head is different than my old Husqvarna. And I can’t control the speed to go super slow with the speed to kind of mow small areas. I’m sure those are things I will adjust to quickly.
