I've eaten at that place since I was a kid and I'm now 69 yrs. old. I generally stick to their po-boy selection and a side of either onion rings or fries.
I mean, they've been in business since 1942, so they must be doing something right. People in N.O. can shut down a restaurant if the food is not good.

I have a vague recollection of eating there in the 70s. I had turtle soup and thought it was tasty.
