Intelligent design does not have to equal God, which is why I find it so funny that all these Atheist scientists won't consider it. Intelligent design simply means something planned the building blocks of life. Could be wizards, computers, protohumans, mother nature, Zeus

Yep, but science fears opening the door to something that they can't comprehend or quantify, or potentially point to a creator.

LOL.. I think Quantum Physics has already opened that door... LOL

What? That is what scientist do everyday.

or potentially point to a creator.

Scientist are discovering the building blocks of reality and making new discoveries all the time but the data thus far does not give indications yay or nay other than pure speculation on a creator. If one does exist and left clues to its existence it will be scientist that discover it.

I don't think science really fears intelligent design. Thing is there is really no way to prove it anyway.

They dreamed up quantum physics to cover this.

Isn't the bringing understanding to things we don't understand the purpose of science? Every serious scientist I've ever heard says start with the evidence and see where that leads.

By definition, that's not faith. If you feel that your faith gives you a deeper understanding of the world or a sense of purpose, fine, but that's not the role of science.

That’s pretty stupid.
