My favorite thing at Five Happiness is their shrimp with pecans… but they don’t devein the shrimp. They all have big black lines running down the backs. It’s gross. I have never understood why they can’t take the time to devein them, or just buy deveined shrimp to begin with. Don’t get me wrong, I like Five Happiness, but little things like that, that are easily fixable, bother me.

As someone whose wife insists we devein all shrimp we cook with, it's a huge PITA. I don't blame them.
