It’s pretty well balanced with the 2.5Ah battery and very easy to do whatever you need to do with it. A lot like a normal gas one. I do use it every now and then to edge. Especially at the beginning of the season when the grass is a bit over grown at the concrete. But with the 5Ah it is a little heavy on the battery side, might just need to adjust where the handle is though to help with that. Unless your yard is huge you wouldn’t need a 5Ah battery for the trimmer though, I’ve only used it on the trimmer when I didn’t run it down much with the blower.

Thanks for the info. Just bought the ST1510T trimmer without the battery (and a pack of extra line). I'm confident I can trim/edge and blow in less than 30 minutes, so a fully charged 2.5 Ah battery should be just fine for me. My yard isn't huge.
