He has a lot of work to do on that shot.
It is very slow. Needs to quicken the release, but his defense and playmaking are legit.
I love what the Pelicans can put out on the court.
Can always have either Jones or Daniel’s guarding the opposing teams best player while a combination of either Ingram, Zion, and CJ pressuring their defense.

Devil’s advocate. I’m not so sure he needs to quicken the release due to how wide open many of his attempts will be and how high his release point is.
He has the bones of a good jumper. It ain’t Klay Thompson pure or anything, but he’s going to be solid.
I saw some analysis of him last night that said he was actually known as a knockdown shooter up until last year with the Ignite. He and Mathurin played in the same development program and Dyson was supposedly the better shooter of the two when they played together.
So whoever mentioned the Australian Ball potentially being different and having an impact might be onto something.
