First game in '70. Saw Tommy play a few times. Different era since Fr weren't allowed to play.
With few exceptions he was the best RB and best DB in every game he played in for 3 years.
That said, Tyrann is the most instinctive football player I have ever seen play. Just on a different level.
If I had to pick one I'd pick Tyrann. GOAT.

You couldn’t line Mathieu up behind the LOS and lead a team in rushing. He was too small.
Different positions as you said. Casanova was more like Troy Polamalu he could cover every receiver and tackle every player on offense. On offense, he was fantastic as well as a KR. The difference is size and quickness. Tommy had size. Mathieu had quickness off the charts.
2 different players and like I said before, Mathieu didn’t play in enough games to be tGOAT.
