I was a boy scout usher over the visiting team seating. We rained peanut shells over the tam fans.

‘83 FSU loss opening game. After going up 14-0, looked like a continuation of ‘82 season. Not to be.

Mid to late 60’s…as a Boy Scout usher. Walked mostly men to their seats, often carrying their flasks/bottles for them which usually earned a $1 tip!

My first game was mid 80's, not sure who we were playing, but Tommy Hodson was the quarterback. My first memorable game was Houston in Dinardo's first year. We were down big, and my dad got pissed and made us all pack up and leave the stadium in the 3rd quarter to drive back to North LA. All you could here on the walk back to the car were these huge roars every time LSU made a big play or scored. Turned the radio on when we got to the car, and we were winning. My dad got even more pissed he missed it. Eh, what do you expect from an NLU alum.

November 22, 1986 (8)LSU-21 vs. Notre Dame-19. I remember this game because everyone in the stands kept screaming about how we whipped Notre Dame in South Bend the previous year and we were going to do it again. I sat in the west in section 101 right down the 15 yard line. I don't remember much about the game, but I do remember getting picked up and put on my dad's shoulders (I was 6) and the guy behind us getting mad.

1949 - My brother was a student there - family went to see LSU football game.

Opp was North Carolina - and they had an All-American back, Charlie "Choo-Choo" Justice - never forgot that name. Don't recall any LSU player names, but we did win the game.

The entire experience was unreal = when I first saw the stadium, I thought it was a building and they played the game on top of it - I was wondering what they'd do if the ball, or someone, fell off the building. (I was 10 yrs old - had only been to a football game in Leesville at "Giberts Field" which was nothing but a set of wooden bleachers on the side of a flat piece of ground.)

Also saw original Mike the Tiger. I was with my brother and his friend when we passed by Mike's cage. (pretty simple little building & small cage in that era) - they had just washed out the cage and a green slime was across the sidewalk. My brother and friend easily jumped over it, but I didn't quite make it - fell on my backside in the middle of it - got Tiger shite all over my pants. Parents had to buy me a new pair of pants .

I was a freshman at LSU in '56 when Mike died - got to see the first replacement. I've seen them all.

Lived in that stadium for my first 2 semesters - great memories.

1979. USC. One of the greatest games in history of Tiger Stadium even though we "lost". The day I became a die hard LSU fan.

Don't remember the year - it was some time in the mid 80s - and I don't remember who we played. I just remember it was homecoming and the band played Johnny's Mambo from Dirty Dancing as the field show.

I think it was Ole Miss the 89 season fully decked out in my Hutch lsu uniform and helmet at 4 years old. We stayed at some hotel with a fountain out front that I fell into. I remember students were living in dorms in the stadium it seemed like and all these random strangers were teaching me cuss words.

That was in 1970. I wonder if the field was messed up for the next home fame? Billy Graham in BR

I don't remember the game, the players, the score, the year. Dad and I have an estimate to the year 96 or so. Season ticket holder ever since.
