Just had to wait for Montgomery to pop but I believe Jay had his eye on him since Omaha. I'd be shocked if LSU didn't get a visit from him soon.

Ashton larson, Jake brown and cam johnson drafted late. Brown is gonna come to lsu and looks like the others will probably follow (hopefully). Braden Montgomery entered the portal and lsu will definitely be on him. Lsu pulled in a very good class and looks to add in the portal

teams also start drafting older college players in those rounds. 23/30 20 rounders in 2022 were college players.
of those 7 HS player 6 are on college rosters.

He throws mid to upper 90s from the left side. If he wants to pitch, he will pitch.

Not sure how important this is but KR mentioned that Montgomery has his status set to “Do not contact” in the portal. Mind already made up or just doesn’t want the riff raff reaching out?

He likely already has his top 3-5 schools set so he doesn’t want the barrage of inquiries from other teams. He’ll probably formally enter the portal then set up visits with those few teams he is solely interested.
