Honestly, the Titan is the only truck I have been around that I thought was less than a quality design.

Having owned Toyota, Ford and Chevy they all have +/-‘s, but are very good trucks.

Never owned Dodge, but a couple of buddies owned them and liked them.

Disclosure: Chevy Silverado owner

Ugly is not the word for Tundra, and Lexus SUV is literally laughable. Fantastic vehicles with regard to reliability, but you have to drive around looking at people laughing at you. Just kidding, but not by much!

I have a 2021 F150 Lariat. It would be the perfect truck except I hate the seats. Can’t get truly comfortable. The have too much on the seat right at my shoulder blades. Can’t add enough lumbar to get it right.

My wife has a 2022 Wagoneer. It has the best seats I have ever sat in. If the Ram uses those seats, that will be my next truck, just for the seats.

I have been a Toyota fan most of my adult life, that being said,I have driven the Ram's for the last 8 years as a company work truck, without a single issue.I recently bought a Toy hauler, and while my Tundra could pull it,it was scary with a crosswind.I ordered a Ram 2500 diesel in February, received it it May,and I have to tell you,I think its the best truck I have ever driven,no more worries while pulling the TT.If Toyota made a 3/4 ton diesel,I would own one.But for now,I will stick with the Ram.

RAM Limited - I drive a 2020 model with 60K miles. Zero problems.
Call us if she makes it to 160k .

Broke 160k on my 2014 Ram 1500 yesterday. Routine maintenance except for some $20 emissions thing.

Changed my brakes for the first time at 158k...still had a fair bit of pads left but did it anyway.

Another 40k and I will change the plugs again.

Nothing wrong with my truck.

They did go to a CP4 fuel pump in the diesels which was a dumbass decision but otherwise, the whole product line is great

Akkktuallllyyyyy, they went back to the latest version of the cp3 in 2022. There is also a recall to change 2020-2021 from cp4 to the new pump

I don’t think I’ve ever ridden in one.

My preference would be GMC, Chevy, or Toyota. I don’t know much about Ram but they do look very good.

Nioceeeee!!

I still don't like the latest gen of the Ram cummins. It's not the same engine as the commercial 6.7 like the previous gens used. The new one has hydraulic lifters and (I think) aluminum heads. It's MUCH quieter and smoother than the old ones, but part of the Cummins appeal was that you got a true medium duty engine in your pickup truck. We'll see how well it holds up.

The latest gen rams are soooooooooo nice across the board. The ride quality and cabin noise dampening are amazing. They did a stupid thing with the heater core always being in the airflow in the cab but there are simple fixes for that.

Had a 2006 chevy that I put 300,00 miles on before I got rid of it because one valve would tap sometimes(friends said it was because of Gerry Lane using recycled oil and me using their free oil changes). Other than that, no troubles at all other than the truck seemed to eat batteries every 45k miles.
Have a 2018 GMC with 140,000 miles on it and been waiting for the transmission to fall out of it with all the crazy shifting it does. Dealer says noting is wrong with it. Also changed water pump at 60k.
I have that was a die hard Chevy truck fan until he test drove a Dodge Ram that he brought.

There is a service bulletin out about this and they know it.

Look it up and take it back to them.

Chevy/GMC transmission are known for that problem and have been for a while.

I have heard mostly the same anecdotally. However, I know a handful of people who drive Rams and I've never heard any of them complain of issues with the truck and needing any repairs.

A Ram truck has been my daily driver for going on 20 years now. None of them have ever been in a repair shop for anything other than my own stupidity.

I would confidently buy a Ram now. Just takes a long time to shed a reputation.

Own a 2018 Tundra. Love it..... hate the new ones.
Next truck will be another Ford or a GMC.

Long time Chevy fan. Switched to Ram in 21. By far my favorite vehicle I’ve ever owned. The feeling of overall quality from the ride, cabin noise level, smoothness of the transmission and effortless power from the engine is a step above anything I’ve owned. Never thought I’d say that about a dodge, but they really knocked it outta the park with this model. (See Chevy and ford rushing to redesign brand new trucks just to keep up). There’s a reason they gained about 20% market share in the viscously contested full size truck market in the last 3 years.

I really like my 2018 Titan...definitely not the prettiest or fanciest, but it was by far the most affordable and had the best warranty when I needed to replace my f150.

I did the same in 2018. From the F150 to the Titan. I really like the new Rams and I think Titan will be discontinued. Ram price too high for me to switch for no reason right now though.

Rumor for the last two years was that the Ram 2500 diesels would begin putting the Allison transmission in! If that finally becomes a reality, Cummins and Allison would be hard to beat !
