His main reason for speaking out is the information he has can hopefully help find who committed this heinous crime. His second reason is he feels he had to chase down Baton Rouge Police to tell them what he saw and heard, when he felt it should be the other way around.

One of them was wearing a red hoodie with the hoodie over his head. They were both black males, I would say mid 20’s and both of them were around 5’10 or 5’11,” said the witness.

“I was bringing my friend home who lives on Government St. When we got on Government, we came up to the train tracks and the train was at a complete stop. Not even 10 minutes later, these two guys walked past my car. One of them was wearing darker clothes with long sleeves. One of them was wearing a red hoodie with the hoodie over his head. They were both black males, I would say mid 20’s and both of them were around 5’10 or 5’11,” said the witness. “It’s still summer. It’s still hot outside so I don’t see the reason for wearing a hoodie. That alone is suspicious to be wearing a hoodie and why would you be walking around at 2am?”

quote:

“At this time, her vehicle pulled up (Allison Rice’s silver SUV). I was going away from downtown on Government and she was coming towards downtown. These two guys walked past my vehicle. The train was still at a complete stop. They were walking through the cars of the train to get across the tracks. Not even 10 minutes went by and I heard the gunshots go off,” he said.

quote:

“I heard multiple gunshots, at least five to six over and after that, I could still see her car parked. As soon as the gunshots went off, she tried to turn around and then she just stopped. I could not tell where the gunshots were coming from but I just knew they were very close to me. I ended up backing out and leaving. That’s when I suspected the person heard them too and was leaving as well. My first instinct was that I don’t need to be here, I need to leave.”

quote:

“I ended up getting back on the interstate. I went around the train and got off at Dalrymple and went to drop off my friend. I went back home and went to bed. The next morning, I saw that someone had been found dead by the tracks. That’s when I realized that’s exactly the car I saw and the time and the gunshots I heard.”

Is the BRPD incompetent or corrupt?

Holy shite? Where’s all the people saying there was nothing new to report? Of course not when you don’t look.

There had to be witnesses if there was a train.

Not shocking at all. Just as we all suspected. Kiran is the only media person working to get information.

Wow. That's the exact OPPOSITE of what you see on reality shows like First 48 where a witness is given TOP priority for a case like this.

They should have had BRPD detectives at his house with coffee and breakfast within 10 minutes of that phone call to get his statement.

“They need to do better. With this specific case, with me and my friend being the only witnesses there, it was very shocking to me that when I called BRPD Friday morning, the person told me she couldn’t help me and she would transfer me,” said the witness. “When I got a hold of someone, they told me he was an assistant and that someone would call me back. Hours went by and no one called me so I called Crime Stoppers. They took down the information and I never heard from anyone again.”

This story finna be buried with the quickness. And honestly I’m surprised the BR establishment hasn’t done a character assassination or run Kiran out of town.

Problem is, 100 other people could've walked by in that time frame. Regardless, still a great lead with the red hoodie. Hope they blanket that whole area with flyers to get someone to talk.

I absolutely cannot understand or fathom what the frick is BRPD’s problem?

If a citizen calls in and needs immediate assistance it’s a complete crapshoot on who you’ll get as a witness or as a victim. It’s either someone who is competent or you’ll get someone who straight up doesn’t give a frick where they look at you like you’re hindering them.

is SWB as apathetic towards white victims as Cantrell in New Orleans is, or does she seem to care?

I know this is not a laughing matter but for real, if I ever need to murder someone, I need to figure out how to get them in Baton Rouge.

I’m glad there is a witness to give the family some answers on what happened but from reading that, the police department dropped the ball and not in a hurry either. That was sad to read. All the years of watching the first 48, they are dying to get witnesses and information. This shows you what kind of police department we are dealing with right now.

Holy shite. Kiran could probably solve the case faster than the fricktards who are supposed to do this job.

Seriously, is there any government body over police departments? It would be the FBI right? There has to be something that can be done when you have a police department that is as incompetent as the BRPD is.

The more information that can be provided would make a complaint better. How many kids have been shot and killed that have gone unsolved? The number of murders every year since he has been chief will have to show a trend of more and more murders and other crimes.

The number of police working for BRPD vs the number of police who are currently working.

It would help if the information shows the number of officers who have quit under this administration vs the number that have been hired. The amount of officers who have been arrested, of course the number of murders they have solved vs the amount that hasn't been.

It should be relatively easy to show a pattern of crime spreading throughout the city under this administration.

And might as well show how the mayor has proven she will kick out any reporter who questions anything about the police department. That pretty much says "we don't want the truth to get out".
