I don't understand your point? The right call to win the game on the road is to get the yard. We had controlled the line of scrimmage all night.
Not every week is the same and you play those decisions based off situations in the game. During that point in the game going for it was the only call.

It was definitely the right call at the time, and LSU looked very much like they would score a TD until being stymied by two false-start penalties and a sack of Daniels. Still that was the proper call on 4th & 1 on the 27-- both on the road, or at home.
