Agreed on that one, and also am just happy that it worked out.
Was just thinking back on how big that play call was. We all know that if it didn't work and UF ended up tying it, then winning after that, a lot of people would be calling for Kelly's head for that specific play call.
Regardless we won, so Geaux Tigers and on to the next one

100% true.
It’s easy to say it was the right call when it worked out. But I think I would have been good with it either way. Converting forced UF to burn their final two timeouts on defense. And if the conversion had failed, we still had two timeouts ourselves. So Florida would have had to play it perfectly to get to OT without giving us a chance to still attempt a game winning FG.
FWIW, I liked the first attempt in the Tennessee game. I thought the second one against Tennessee was pretty questionable from our own 46 yard line, but after that we were in such a hole that we kind of had to go for the rest of them.
