You cant bend your finger back further while extended without something moving it for you.. his finger moved back (one finger by itself) when the ball passed.. plus the ball started a slight wiggle after the tip..
& why is it the pixels went to 1990 pixels on that replay? it was tipped..

Maybe. I could not tell. Replay is not there to make ambiguous calls. That was unclear, and they did the right thing by staying out of it.
Another thing. Justice was served. Because LSU’s Sage Ryan was holding the receiver before the ball was thrown. If they had called that, as well as the interference, then it doesn’t matter if the ball was tipped.

It was tipped. The middle finger tells the story. I used mine after they said it wasn’t tipped.

100%.... don’t look at ball look at finger. I also knew by Wingos reaction after play. Tough call though

Fingers bend backwards by themselves all the time. Glad the REC is aware of this phenomenon.

Yeah it’s funny, the replay they showed right after the play you could see the finger make contact with the ball. Then the rest of the replays were so pixelated you couldn’t see anything.

Gun to my head, I think he barely tipped it. That said, I didn’t think there was enough to overturn it. To be honest, as much as I wanted it, if the roles were reversed Idnhave lost my shite if they overturned that against LSU. Just because it wasn’t conclusive.

It was tipped and another call to screw us over!

Also, there was a slight rise in the ball when it was tipped besides the tipping finger moving back.
The spin of the football changed, too.

Tide version: Bryce Young once threw a ball so hard the wind pushed the defender’s fingers backward

It's called Birmingham

It was 100% tipped. I saw it in real time from 243 across the damn field. 100% tipped.
