No doubt it was the right call - win or lose.

All the momentum is with us. The crowd is with us. Why give Bryce Young any more chances. Your QB is on freakin' fire. He said he had great 3-yard play that Bama had not yet seen.

It was the right call. Unlike our previous coach, this guy understand the "feel" of the game - momentum, emotion, riding the ups and hunkering down in the downs.

If he would have kicked and we lose on the next possession, everyone is questioning it the other way. If we go and fall short, then we went down swingin' !

Right call - period.

I was Ok with it whether he got it or not. But I can assure you there are those on this board who would have crucified him if they didn't. As far as I was concerned we had done what we intended to do. Show that we can compete with the Bamas of the world. Win or lose we are on the right track. Winning was a bonus. Not saying I didn't want to win but I was OK if they didn't get the conversion and lost. Hell I took them on the money line!

It was not the conventional call, but it was the right call. That's good coaching right there.

1st and 10 at the 25, Daniels busts it for an immediate TD. That's a gut punch to a defense. When you get that opportunity, you don't back off and let them re-group; you go for the jugular right then and there.

Fantastic coaching instincts on Kelly's part.

I was fine with it - I’ve been hurt so much in these kinds of games against Bama I just wanted it to end win or lose.

100 percent agreed with the call. Win the game right there.

I called for it and was happy to see him go for it. Win or lose it had to end there. Prolonging the game and giving the refs more opportunities to determine the outcome was not acceptable. So glad it worked out.

After they scored that touchdown on the 1st play, I immediately yelled out "End this shite right now!"

and I saw #5 on the screen still and went nuts

Wife was totally embarrassed because I'm yelling this in the middle of Twin Peaks

Told my friends before it happened that it was EXACTLY the right thing to do.....LSU's defense was getting tired and you might never have a better chance to beat the Tide....sometimes, you just have to roll the dice.....

Love the call because I hate dragging out multiple ots like the 2018 Aggie game
Like the triple OT against Arkansas when LSU was ranked #1. Man, Tiger Stadium was quiet, somber and in shock. It felt like we'd just witnessed a death. That was a long ride back to Shreveport that night.

the 2nd OT was only going to be both teams going for 2-points, so it really wasn’t as crazy a decision as some might think to go for 2 in the first OT.

I thought it was nuts until I saw the play call unfolding. That play has been money all year. I could understand why BK had confidence in that call after fact, but before I thought it was nuts!!

My thoughts were it’s a great call AND, win or lose, CBK and Denbrock better have a very good play

As soon as we scored the touchdown I jumped up with two fingers in the air. We should have done that against Florida State.

Geaux Tigers!!!
Kelly is just a boss.

by going for the 2 pt. you control the game.
what advantage is there to battling with the opponent who could potentially score and go for the 2 pt. conversion.
forcing a team to score and convert.

besides, a bad call by the referee on any play can flip the momentum. ie: 2018 aTm
