Great point about the students affected by the covid bullshite. The seniors this year had their senior year of high school robbed from them and then their freshman, sophomore, and junior years at LSU had more covid bullshite and a football program on a freight elevator to hell.

I hope they all had weekends they'll remember (or at least vaguely recall lol).

quote:

I’m not sure why people make a big deal about this. It depends on where you measure. The only accurate place to measure decibels in TS would be at the tiger eye, vertically between the upper deck and the field. Some guy said his watch. If you have your hand cupped over your mouth screaming, it’s going to be loud as frick.

If I won the lottery, I would pay for a huge project to settle the dispute.

I would put microphones on the goal posts of every loud college football stadium and measure the sound over a period of a few years. Then correlate the readings to the play of the game to see which stadium is the loudest cross referenced to whether their team is winning or losing.

Gotta win the lottery, though.

Last nite makes me wonder had this size stadium existed back when TS only held 68,000 what the noise would have been like. This old quote from a S.Cal. player when they came to TS ranked #1. " This crazy stadium makes Notre Dame's sound like Romper Room. " . Makes a huge difference when the crowd stays the whole game.
