That’s some poetic shite right there man. Glad my grandparents got to be there

Borne is on to something. There’s something eerily beautiful about that fog rolling in on a muggy night. Tiger Stadium is the best place on earth for those of us who have some belief in the supernatural and otherworldly. Truly haunted and in a good way.

Was it actually fog

It was fog. The cool front that had come through earlier that morning eventually stalled and began to come back as a warm front. Increased the humidity and created the fog. This also caused smoke from the fireworks to hang around in the still, humid air.

The fog is noticeable in this video. The timing is so eerie.

Wow! That got me. I closed my eyes and saw my Dad and Brother (Sir Yin Yang on this board) storming the field. Thank you for that.

the fog

In that two second TV shot it looked as if the hand of God was reaching over the SW uppers towards the final play end zone.

Got me too. I could see my grandparents out there soaking it up. They used to take us to the games. Even after we moved to MS in 95, they kept their tickets in 301 so they could continue bringing us. Last game I got to go to with my grandpa was UT in 01.

I KNOW they were there

I love hearing these. 2019 was incredible, no doubt about it. But it had been so long since we have had a night like last night in Tiger Stadium. The place connected with a higher plane.

Thanks for a great post and the great responses which have stirred up fond LSU memories that I have experienced over the years. Last night is right up with the best of them. Wish I could have been there in person.
