Georgia is in regardless. Lot of LSU homerism going on in here.

You got throttled and by 4 scores to UT at home, who gave up 63 to SCAR.

UGA dominated UT at home.

How's that comparison?

In a scenario that LSU and UGA play each other this transitive property BS means nothing. You have a head to head matchup.

The committee looks at 2 things above all when comparing two teams. Head to head and conference championships. LSU would have both of them.

The difference between this season and 2016 when they took Ohio State over Penn State even tho Penn State won the head to head and the conference championship is the head to head matchup was in October. This time the matchup is in the championship game the day before the committee decides. I think that is a bigger deal than people are making it out to be.

The only way Georgia is out is if they lose to Georgia Tech and LSU. Very unlikely they lose to Georgia Tech. I think LSU would get the spot over USC based on strength of schedule.

Disagree. South Carolina isn’t going to the playoffs.

I don't know if thats true, but they wouldn't be in over LSU if only 1 SEC team makes. LSU wins and they're in. UGA might be as well, but not instead of LSU, that guaranteed. Lots of UGA stupidity going on here.

I would say

#1 OSU/Michigan winner
#2 TCU
#3 LSU
#4 USC
#5 UGA

edit: to change 4 and 5. If we beat UGA it's going to be a debate about who goes in 1 loss conference champ USC, OSU/Michigan loser, UGA.

If it comes down to LSU or USC it's going to be us, but I don't think it would come down to that. I think it would come down to USC UGA and OSU/MICH

If Cal can hold on to this one against UCLA it basically makes Ole Miss’ loss a wash in comparison to USC.

Oregon State is either unranked or weakens a USC opponent in the PAC 12 championship game.

LSU could have more top 25 wins (or equal if UCLA comes back), but is almost certain to have 2 better ones than USC’s 2 best.

It’ll be hard to keep LSU out and put USC in, especially if current results hold.

I could see USC jumping UGA. USC is the media darling. And if they beat ND (another media darling) the media would be jizzing themselves.

If that were to happen and USC didn't jump UGA, look for another split NC as the AP would automatically crown USC before the playoffs were even started.

I think one thing is certain, there will be chaos if LSU beats UGA.
