re: Offering Spiritual guidance from Higher Beings.

Joshua tells his Followers he is not the Jesus of the Bible and we are not to take it literally. He further tells us it has lost its original meaning through alterations in excess of at least 30,000 occasions. I'm just sharing what I was taught not by Religion ( I'm a former Born Again Christian)

2 Tim 3:16-17 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."

When Satan tempted Christ in the wilderness after forty days of fasting, he used scripture. (Yes, Satan is very well versed in twisting and using scripture to his advantage.) Christ responded each time with, "It is written..."

A logical person would think that, if Christ quoted scripture to refute Satan's temptations, maybe scripture (as it is written) is sufficient for us to use as our guide to follow God's plan for us.
