Perhaps Boutte is enrolled in Winter Intersession in order to be eligible for the Spring Semester. You can’t skip any classes during Intersession. Winter Intersession runs from 12/15-1/6. Winter Holiday is from 12/23-1/2.
Maybe Coach Kelly just wants him to concentrate on grades at this point.
The above is purely conjecture on my part. Only Boutte and/or Kelly know what’s really going on.
