Also, as I was reading more on it, you should replace the chain at some point. These newer engines are set to interference which means the pistons and valves essentially touch. Once the chain goes, it fricks everything. This is also the same on the 4 cylinder.
Futhermore, if you have a belt, it is recommended to change it every 60k to 75k. The 100k is the absolute max just based on wear.
