I got a Tacoma as a rental not long ago. I was shocked when I walked around to the tailgate and saw the V6 badge. I was positive it was a 4.

The 6 cylinder I had was fine power wise. I didn’t like the transmission. Was programmed to shift early to save on fuel. Became too shifty. Would downshift going over overpasses on the interstate. Traded in on 2019 F-150 but had worse tranny with the 10 speed. What a nightmare.
