Manning ain’t that good dude, not worth losing sleep over. Holstein and Collins are both better.

Hell Lane Kiffin cant even tell you that.

Actually, Lane may have told him that, but doesn’t mean it happens. Don’t put anything past LK.

Won't miss either of them.

Our QB room is probably better than ever...

Let’s be clear… check any recruiting site and Howard was a consensus 4*

I did see a publication that WH was a 4*. However, WH was referenced as a 5* according to articles in The Athletic, The Reveille, the Lafayette Daily Advertiser, Zach Nagy, Glenn Guilbeau at Outkick, and WAFB TV.
I don't follow the rating agencies (I realize they can differ in player ratings) so I rely on what I read. I figure if more than one publication lists him as a 5*, then I would be accurate if I referred to him as a 5*.
However, that wasn't the point I wanted to make.
The point of my rant is I think LSU is in a good place at QB even if we didn't land either of these highly rated guys that happen to be from Louisiana. It's not often we can make that statement.

Who needs a Manning when you got all those Brees boys running around in Burrow and Chase jerseys? Can we please talk about Baylen Brees recruitment? He graduates in 5 years, this would be a coach Sloan recruit?

Howard was once a 5* but he dropped a star at some point.

That poor young kid stuff went out the window with NIL.
These are professional athletes getting paid not amateurs doing it for their school and a scholarship.

Howard wasn’t beating Nuss so to stay at LSU meant a minimum of two more years on the bench. He’ll sit one year at Ole Miss and take the reins - if that long. Kiffin keeps his QBs on a short leash.

Kiffin will bring in another transfer QB. WH isn’t going to scare any good QB. Howard will likely finish his career at UL or Tulane.

Could you point out what makes this apparent? I'm not saying you're wrong that BK isn't worried about it, but he hasn't done or said anything either way.

Only reason he became a 4 star was because of his injury senior year. He was the top or second best qb available at one point before or at the start of his senior season I can’t remember.
No need to argue over this because it doesn’t matter once they sign or get on campus. Sad to see him go but understand the situation and we’ll be more than fine at qb without him
