How much would you bid at a charity auction to have dinner with Coach Dennis Allen?

You would be on hook for covering both meals. The auction bid is just for his company for a two hour dinner.

I think it would be cool despite him not being a good head coach. I’d probably pay about $250 and be out bid.

Wouldn't do it if they paid me.

I would pay a few hundred. He would have to be completely honest with me though.

“How is it to realize that you are on over your head….again?”
“When will you be returning to DC….where you have had actual success?”

His skinny arse would probably want to fight me, but those are honest questions. There are only 32 head coaches in the world, not everyone will be successful at it. And at that level, ego is a significant part of the equation. I will never reach that level at anything in my life….genuinely curious as to how hard it is to make that realization.

Nothing.

The silence as we ate our dinner would be too awkward.

I lived in Houston for a couple years on the same block as Jeff Fisher when he was promoted to HC of the Oilers. Some dude overpaid for the house next door to Jeff just to yell at him everyday as he was walking from his front door to his car.

Team left for Tennessee the next year.

Probably zero dollars. However, he seems like a nice guy, just not a good head coach

I would pay not to have dinner with him. He would give me indigestion.
