Travel ball killed it. Youth leagues suck because of it too. frick the Braxtons and Jaxxsons who will never make it and I hope the parents deal with the issues travel ball puts on kids.

The obsession with youth baseball on this board is amazing, most ball is not "travel" if you live in a decent size city or near one...it is "competitive" because lazy dad's like the ones in this thread don't play catch with their kids

Know a family like this. Their son looks like a total douche in all of their pictures on FB with his gold chain, and jersey shore looking sunglasses. He's on the Renegades. Of course he has the $500+ dollar Marucci bat, etc. He likes to say stuff is "Gucci" too. We're talking about a 12 yrs old white kid from a good family. Oh and he's 5'1". He's never gonna be a ball player.
