Any comments on this one, would you recommend?

Good, Not Great. Trigger is gritty, I've polished some internals and still have some grit. Thinking about buying an Apex Trigger for it. Besides that, everything else is awesome.

I guess it's whatever you become accustomed to shooting and handling. Been carrying a stainless S & W 66-2 .357 for over 30 years. It just feels like a part of my hand now. I did install custom Hogue grips. Factory grips were just too small for my hand and didn't provide the stability that the Hogues do.

Sometimes I do. But usually I opt for my snubnose. The Canik is a wonderful gun but a tad too chunky and heavy for my CC, for me. I carry IWB appendix. I just bought a Kahr CW9 for carrying and I’ll probably make the Canik my upstairs home defense pistol.

I carry it in the winter and like to have it with me when hunting, but more often I have my Ruger Max 9 close.

It could just be this gun. It’s a Taurus poly protector. Lightweight and heavy long trigger. I have a full size Taurus revolver which shoots great and your S&W might shoot great too.

I cc the Canik TP9 Elite SC sometimes when I'm hunting or traveling in my truck. I carry it OWB using the Kydex holster than came w/ it. Here's a post about my cc of the Canik TP9 Elite SC. It's a little "clunky" for me to cc all the time. My post includes pics comparing the size of the Elite SC w/ the Kahr CM9 and Kahr CW380.

Canik is supposedly releasing an updated version, the TP( Sub METE.

The METE line is pretty impressive for the cost. I don't think anyone else even comes close.

I came down to the Hellcat, Sig p365, and Shadow Systems cr920. Liked them all. SS fit me the best but you can't go wrong with any of the 3. I carry IWB at 9 o'clock (I'm a lefty) and have no issues but I'm about to switch holsters. I have a cheapo at the moment and I think I'm going Alien gear on a new one. Mine carries fine but if you pull the gun it's dang near impossible to re-holster it with the one I have.
SS is still pretty new and it's hard to find a ton of companies that make holsters for them so far.

365. Originator in this micro compact 9mm category and IMO still the king.

Won't leave home without it.

Sig 365X in a Tenicor VELO4 is my EDC.

Ruger LCP (looking to grab an LCP Max soon) in a Sticky pocket holster for "light weight" carry.

I'm trying to decide between trading my LCPII in for a Max or just buying a hellcat to pocket carry when I need it.

Looking at getting this for my new CCW. Might use it as a backup piece.

What red dot are you putting on it? You just going to get the local guy to cut the slide?
