Am I crazy to think that I can go to 4 Disney parks in one day just to get on 4 rides?

I am taking my wife and 12 year old son to Universal Studios/ Adventure Island in the beginning of June. For three express passes, it came up to $614 dollars.
My son has never been to Orlando but I’m torn on getting the $614 for express passes or just go to Universal/Adventure for the early entry since we will be at Sapphire resort, get in the regular lines, and use that $614 for Disney tickets.
I know Disney World is different now with reservations, genie plus, and lightning lanes. I was thinking of getting a one day park hopper tickets and go to all four parks at Disney just to get on 4 rides without genie plus and lightning lanes.
I have seen all the new videos on YouTube about going to Disney World from all the Disney YouTubers and each park has that main ride that me and my family want to get on. I know the regular lines will be a pain in the arse and miserable.
Is there any chance in hell that I can start the day off at Epcot to ride Guardian of the Galaxy, go to MGM Studios when people can park hop at 2pm to ride Star Wars Rise of the Resistance, go to Animal Kingdom to get on Flight of Passage, and end the night at Magic Kingdom to ride Tron?
Am I crazy to try to do that or stick with paying the $614 for the express passes when we go to Universal Studios/Adventure Island?

I know nothing about Disney and even I think that sounds unrealistic.

I know nothing about how disney is structured or what any of those passes you mentioend actually allow you do to, but I would imagine that spending a 12+ hour day at the park/parks and only riding 4 rides would be absolutely miserable.

How much is a night at one of the three Universal resorts that include the Express Pass with your stay?

That sounds like way too much if you can't start park hopping until 2pm, you have to figure on around a 2 hour wait in line for each of those, probably an hour each time to jump from one park to the next, I feel like you'd run out of time.

You also need to assume an hour to get from 1 ride in 1 Park to another ride in another park.
It would probably be possible, but the lines for these rides can push up to 3 or 4 hours. 1 ride has a 200 min wait and you are done.
100% you could do this in 2 days.

Tron does not have a regular stand by line. You will have to either purchase Individual Attraction Selection or join the virtual queue. The virtual queue opens at 7am and then again at 1pm. The virtual queue sells out in literally seconds.
You can do 4 parks and 4 rides in each, but it won’t be the ones you mentioned.

Yes, it’s doable.
I’ll post more tomorrow but what is your exact date?

Only did Universal Studious (between your 2 picks), bc I live in FL and like rides. Disney isn't for me. I like US, and a day is great, especially with a Fast-Pass but the rides and price point at Tampa Busch Gardens are amazing. Great roller-coasters. Seriously, great. It's a hike down the I-4, but really worth it. Better rides (if you like excitement) than Disney & US. US has the cool Harry Potter rides, the Hulk, Spiderman, etc. But as someone who loves actual roller-coasters and not so-much virtual rides, BG is great. Have fun!

Is this like a nerd version of Spartan Games?

For our last trip a night at a Universal hotel that included express was $800 a night which wasn’t worth it so I bought express pass. We did early entry which doesn’t mean much since only a few rides are open and unless you are the first group there over an hour before early entry, you will still have an hour+ wait at any of the big rides. Since express can be used on any ride but 2 now, we were able to ride every one of those with time to spare in one day. Some I will never do again (Simpsons, transformers).
At Disney the rides aren’t just shake you around make you sick rides like Universal so we enjoy it more. Velocicoaster is awesome and Hulk/Mummy are solid but we go to Dollywood enough that roller coasters like those don’t impress as much anymore.
Doing 4 parks in a day is doable with genie plus:
Epcot - virtual queue is hit or miss because it sells out in seconds and even with it you’re looking at a 1-2 hour wait. Buy the LL and get a morning time which would be a 20-30 min wait. If that’s all you wanna do there the. You could technically try for a 2 pm time so your morning isn’t wasted and it could be your first park to hop to.
Magic Kingdom - if Tron is all you want then you are relying on the virtual queue to get you the perfect time, if you get one at all. Good luck.
Hollywood - not sure why you picked arise of Resistance but ok.
Animal Kingdom - I’d do this first since it’s easiest to rope drop and get on/off Flight of Passage because the rest of your options are virtual queues. You could even hope for a genie plus return window early. I’d also do Everest which is one of their best coasters and typically had low wait times early.

You'll spend most of your day in line. Just do a park a day and relax a bit after running to the main rides

I don’t believe it would be possible primarily due to that 2PM limit to start park hopping and regardless it would be miserable.
My biggest gripe about Disney world and why I prefer Disneyland is that transit between the parks and even the resort hotels takes at least half an hour waiting on bus or ferry between the different stops

That plan would absolutely never work.

Book the VIP - let’s you get on any ride in any park when you are ready - and you have direct park to park access…and no damn wait.
Minimum is about $800 an hour but worth every damn penny -
You will need to tip a heafty amount.
You will need your park passes in addition to the $800 an hour.
All that said - with a 12 year old, slow down and enjoy the day - the 12 yo won’t appreciate the vip day until older

Yea that's not gonna happen. Flight of Passage is the only one you'd have a shot at after park hopping. Guardians and Tron are both virtual queue or individual lightning lane only and I doubt you'd get either without being in those parks first thing in the AM. 3 is possible but one of Tron or Guardians would have to be skipped.

Nah. What's crazy is continuing to throw your money at Disney.

You can easily do it, as long as you apply for DAS.....
But as others have said, you will need to get extremely lucky with the virtual que (we made one accident click on Guardians in November and missed the morning que, took maybe 2 secs to hit back and it was gone) or just pay for lighting lane. That's what we did for Guardians in the morning and then got the afternoon que.
I have no clue about Tron but assume you can purchase a lightning lane there too.

You can get into all 4 parks, that’s not that bad. Hop on the bus at each park to go to the other. Depending on when the bus runs, it may take you an hour to get from park to park. You can take the monorail from Magic to Epcot and the skyline from Hollywood to Epcot I believe.
The issue is getting on the ride. You may have a 3 hour wait for each ride. Those are the most popular rides. Also, unless it’s changed, you have to get in the Que on the app for the Star Wars ride and that’s not always easy. Because of this reason, I would not recommend it.
I’ve been to Universal with express passes and without. I’ll never go back without a pass. You still end up waiting maybe 15-30 minutes for each ride, but it’s far better than 60-90 minutes.
