Only did Universal Studious (between your 2 picks), bc I live in FL and like rides. Disney isn't for me. I like US, and a day is great, especially with a Fast-Pass but the rides and price point at Tampa Busch Gardens are amazing. Great roller-coasters. Seriously, great. It's a hike down the I-4, but really worth it. Better rides (if you like excitement) than Disney & US. US has the cool Harry Potter rides, the Hulk, Spiderman, etc. But as someone who loves actual roller-coasters and not so-much virtual rides, BG is great. Have fun!
