Sub question… do you think .38 Special is a true blue Southern Rock band or are they more in the vein of bands like Toto or REO?

Interestingly enough, Allman Bros were more rooted in R&B, soul, some jazz influence and old school blues.....the sound that most of us identify as southern rock when thinking about the Allman Bros didn't crop up until the 1973 Brothers and Sisters album, after Duane and Barry had passed.
