Those stats are still there, They are still the basis of the new stats. They just dont tell the whole story.
The point of the new stats is to do just that. Its not perfect. But when you look at the new analytics its very useful and applicable to the game. Its a huge part of the MLB, the Astros are one of the most analytical teams and its no surprise they have been good year in and year out for a bit now.
