The last true Tex-Mex place I went to was Chuy’s. Either get combo fajitas or the steak burrito on the “Specialties” menu.

If you consider Chipotle/ Qdoba/ Moe’s SW Grill as Tex Mex (you should)…… then a steak fajita burrito, no rice, loaded with pretty much everything else besides lettuce.

It’s hard to go to Superior and not get the Taco Truck Carnitas. Great value ($14-15) and they’re delicious.

The thing about a mexican restaurant is that I could flip a coin on anything and be satisfied.

This is the right answer.

If they don’t have this, some type of fajita nachos.

When done right. And with chopped onions as they are intended to be.

Lamb lollipops at Pablo’s in Richmond are pretty freaking good.

Salsa at El Tiempo, as well as their broiled redfish topped with shrimp and serrano peppers.
