Like I said, it’s the poor decision making coupled with the silly trolling. If he were still knocking it out of the park, no one would care, but he’s not.

One recent example was “Tesla Vision”, where he wanted autopilot/FSD to rely solely on cameras (instead of radar + cameras). All of his engineers said it was a terrible idea. Hell, all you have to do is drive a Tesla to see it wouldn’t work. The cameras are frequently rendered inoperable by direct sunlight and they’re terrible at judging distances within a few feet which is pretty important for, you know, braking.

He did it anyway. Most teslas made last year don’t have a radar and, to the surprise of no one but Elon, they perform worse in autopilot/FSD than older cars with radars. He has now reversed that decision.

With respect to Twitter, it’s his money obviously but there’s no way in hell a platform that is 90% bots and trolls is ever going to be worth $44 billion to anyone else. Where is the cash flow going to come from? $10/month blue check marks?

I appreciate what the dude has done, but if he wants to focus on his overpriced social media playground I wish he would hire his replacement at Tesla first.

Should have labeled them “state funded media” which is 100% factual.

Other than the obvious advertising (like the old Texaco Star Theater/Milton Bearle show), I'm not seeing a difference.

I think a group of banks/PE shops put up a few billion. But I guess it’s possible they’ve been paid back/bought out.

They don't have control and can't sell without board approval so it doesn't really matter what they think. The big cash infusion came from Morgan Stanley but that's more of a loan collateralized against Tesla stock.

Remind me, which Amendment gives the right to be on Twitter?

Does banning someone from Tigerdroppings constitute infringement of this constitutional right? Is Chicken colluding with the government too?

He is about to launch the largest rocket ever into space.

It will also be completely reusable in the near future. Both booster and vehicle portions.

It will be used to go to the moon soon and lays the path for Mars missions.

It also will drastically reduce the cost to reach space.

I wish I was knocking out 1 millionth of what he is doing with SpaceX alone.

Nonsensical on even the most basic level of understanding of what the 1st amendment defines.

I don't get the trolling to be a white male Biden voter. There's nothing remotely redeemable about it

You really got us there though with the same canned responses for years.

I think you are saying a private enterprise operating under the direction of government censors (and being paid by the government) to be the same as a private business that operates without government interference, government checks or government agents of the intelligence agencies telling it to censure the posts of some people. Is that correct?
