What kind of needle do I need for Mounjaro if I do the pep science? I'm assuming it's 5mg/ml and it's a 10ml vial.

I get that it is wasted calories but it not an extremely excessive level of alcohol consumption.

i would agree that its not out of control or excessive unless you are doing it every single night. which also leads to bad choices when it comes to food.

so yea 2 glasses doesnt seem like its out of control or ecessive but in the grand scheme it is. thats 25lbs of fat you would gain in a year if everything else stayed constant. Thats excessive and so many in South Louisiana and in the south in general go home and have 2-3 beers or glasses of wine every night...

1) drinking alcohol every night is excessive period
2) as i pointed out that is a shite ton of calories when you look at it from a over arching macro view.

do i think 2 glasses of wine makes on an alcoholic...not close but if you are like the OP and also drinking other stuff and needing mounjaro to lose weight....then yea it is making you an alcoholic because you are putting your health at risk and needing a pharma intervention to stop the behaviour.

Correct me if I’m wrong but from what I’ve seen It’s a 5mg vial at around $150 per vial. So if 10mg is your therapeutic dose, you need 2 vials a week. At that point, you may as well pay out of pocket for the real thing.

I agree with the sentiment. Alcohol and sugar are the first things anyone concerned about health and weight loss should eliminate.

I guess I cannot relate because when I drank 2 drinks would just be a warm-up.

I’m confused. I read on peptide science that it’s a powder and needs to be reconstituted. So I need to use the water or whatever they tell me to and inject that into the bottle then it’s good to go from there? So if it says 5mg, does it mean 5mg total for the whole bottle or is it 5mg/ml after the dilution?

so PS is 3mg, I would start with no more than .5mg for 4 weeks, most women start at .25 for 4 weeks.

so to make dosage easy, add 6ml of water. That makes it .5mg/ml. you can then a 1ml insulin syringe to draw up 100 units which is 1ml which would be 0.5mg. inject subq in stomach fat.

yea certainly 2 glasses of wine every night for a week or even a month...no big deal but if you are overweight and having to seek intervention from big pharma to stop the behaviour it certainly has become an issue imo.

There are calculators online to figure dosing. I do 2 ml of bac into 5mg sema. 1 mg after reconstitution is 40 units on a 1ml insulin syringe. wife is currently doing 1.75 so I draw to 70.

I should have said every night the weather is nice enough to go sit on the deck. That is not much alcohol, that is 2 glasses each spread out over 3 hours or so, and that is the only alcohol we consume. We also hit the gym 3 days a week. BTW, since I make a point of avoiding carbs, an entire bottle of merlot is about 24 carbs.

But, I am glad to be rid of the habit regardless, it makes weight loss that much easier. Currently I am down to a weight I have not seen since 1987 and it is still falling.

What I was asking is if any other Mounjaro patients also have noticed this beneficial side effect?

How long is it good for once reconstituted?

I think about 2 months or so. I refrigerate and keep in a box. Once the doses get higher you go through a vial pretty fast though.
