Investment portfolio suggestions

I have an investment portfolio within a university retirement plan. When I retire I will need to move it to another site.
I do not depend on this money for retirement, so willing to be reasonably risk-accepting with the thought that my heirs can benefit on the longer term.
Any suggestions by those in the business of finance and investment for 1) a type of money manager and/or 2) specific companies.
