Looks like Sarah Strong is taking her official visit to Oregon this weekend, with Oregon commit & fellow USA 3x3 teammate, Katie Fiso.

Kate Koval posted on her IG story that she is flying to “official visit #2” (with ND message boards hinting she’s on her visit there, big weekend of the OSU-ND football game.)

O Neal is currently rated as 32 in the nation , four star.
Daughter of an LSU legend, you’d think she would be a definite take , unless she doesn’t want to come to LSU.

Yeah doesn’t make a lot of sense on paper unless lsu is convinced they have the players lined up or O’Neal is adamant about not visiting again but I doubt that’s the case with her

What I take away from this pic, more than anything else, is that Tigerbait357 knows his shite.

That picture is funny for so many reasons. Kim has rejuvenated LSU WBB so much that people are stalking for exclusive photos of prospective recruits while she is driving on a highway. And then you have Gordon of all people with an advertisement partially in the pic as well

Recent Kim Mulkey Interview

It was nice to finally hear straight from the Boss what the new players bring/initial impressions starting at the 7:25 mark:

Mikaylah: Already physically ready for the college game. She can play anywhere on the perimeter: PG, SG, Power Off-Guard/rebounder, & will be "unfairly" needed this year to play all those positions. Besides her scoring, she is an extremely good passer and makes her teammates better

Del Rosario: Put the Tigers first by skipping her USA commitment to have an ankle cleanup surgery & a 12-week summer rehab. LSU’s biggest player in the paint. Has size & finesse. Mulkey wants her to be a dawg, not so nice.

Velez: True PG. Will only play PG. She’s a sponge from coaches & players. She’s a leader. Not fearful of the competition. Will be a coach one day.

Janae Kent: Doesn’t care what scouting services ranked her. She has the perfect body for a perimeter wing player. Has the height, length, athleticism. Played mostly inside in HS at games Mulkey attended but was surprised Kent shoots the 3 ball so well. Comes from a pedigree of athletes & raised in a gym.

Morrow & HVL: Experience is evident, particularly in pickup games. Both are effortless scorers. Morrow can take you inside or face you up outside. Hailey is a gym-rat workaholic. Mulkey now considering incorporating some of HVL’s workout drills.

Good interview.
Williams is going to be a matchup nightmare for opposing teams.
Not just her skill set but her build is going to make it very difficult to defend her .

Have seen several YouTube videos of HVL's workout programs. She, along with her dad pushing her, seriously works her butt off. For several hrs.

Parking was a bitch.
Half of the PMAC lower bowl seating is open but mostly filled. A couple thousand are here, I’d guess.
Nice hype video segment on the big screen.
Ladies came out to stretch. Kim followed.
Warmup layups. Rosario running & ankle looking fine.
Full court layup drills.
Half court feeding-the-post drills, then a drill where the post kicks out to mid range shooters.
2 on 2 Pick n roll drills then 5 on 5 PnR. Angel hit a 15 footer.
Dribbling drill (with downward-vision-blocking goggles).

Impressive mid-court ball-handling/no dribble drill.

Cover the open shooter defensive drill, chasing the passed ball.
5 on 5 half-court vs boys; girls-only-playing-defense drill. Hailey is the loudest, most piercing. Nice steals and charges taken.
Nice diving steal by Velez (The guy behind me was telling anybody who could hear: "This girl is getting minutes this year!")
Block by ADR, then next play, steals & solo fastbreaks for a score
Split court: 3 on 3 perimeter defense with 2 on 2 post defense on other half of court
HVL hit about 5 warmup threes from the “U” of the logo.
5 on 10 full court offensive drills bringing up the ball and scoring
Great full court tip drill gassers at both ends, never letting the ball hit the floor. ADR was the crowd favorite as she gave it her all
Two 20 min full court 5 on 5 vs boys, after just finishing gassers. At least 10 points in the post by ADR. Everybody having their moments.
Three 2 min full court sprinting lay up drills
Hit both FT's.. or else whole team sprints full court & back drill (sprinted about 5 times, funny loud groans after misses.. until HVL hit both of hers)
Mid-court huddle prayer

That was an intense 3 hour legit practice. I’m exhausted just watching all those different sprint drills.

ADR looked good. ADR did eventually get a little bit tired but her size is evident and she has some nice post moves and a nice hook shot. Talent is there, gonna be really good one but just need to continue to work and get in better physical shape

Shooting was a little off in the limited view I had but Mani surprisingly looked really good. Everyone had their moments but obviously some rust being knocked off right now and new players adjusting to each other

Sa'Myah is much bigger/muscular but couldn't throw it into the ocean (along with many others).

HVL shot the ball pretty well but has to cut turnovers down which was expected. Kent show the ball decently from midrange actually.
