Bert Jones to Brad Davis, 1972, with one second left and down 10-16. Extra point after time expired. 17-16. 3 minute drive down the field capped by that.

I watched MLB All-Star and Batting Champion DJ LeMahieu quickly step on 2nd base during Game 1 of the 2008 Super Regional against UC Irvine to avoid succumbing to the hidden ball trick. The umpire did not see the same thing.
I think Javi’s hat throw inspired the team for the final two games.

1986 vs Texas A&M. We won 35-17.

I was in the student section and my drunken slut of a date was giving me a handjob under a blanket.
We scored a TD and everyone stood up and went crazy except for she and I. My room mate looked at me to see why I was still sitting and realized what was up then said, “ You are one sick fricker you know that?”

Good times.

Sitting down. I was a few seats from Ricky Blanton that night… that flyover
Was the bomb. The place was electric for the rest of the night.

For the guy who claims to have gotten a hand-job under a blanket - above - It should be “except her and me”, NOT “except she and I”.

Personally, like in attendance witnesses, was Ricky Blanton’s put back to beat Georgetown in the Dome….

I have seen all the football moments since 1966.

Bert Jones to Brad Davis. Earthquake game. ND 1971. All rushings of the field. All three National Championships.

The greatest single moment?

It was a downed punt.
Superdome January 2004, last play of the game, watching the punt bounce harmlessly as the clock wound down to zero. That touched off an hours long party in the French Quarter.

Probably LF7s first half vs Auburn 2015. Hottest game I’ve ever been to.

2003 UGA - right after UGA takes the lead on that long screen pass. The stadium erupts into an L-S-U, L-S-U, L-S-U… chant. I knew we weren’t going to lose. UGA was completely fricked at that moment.

I think Richt may have joked later that it was the only time he wished his team didn’t score.

(I might be misremembering some of this)
