Goldeneye for N64 is arguably one of the greatest games ever made. Night fire on PS2 is another great one

NCAA 2006 is the best video game of all time. Haven’t gamed in years but when NCAA 25 drops I’m purchasing that as well as a PS5.

ETA: the 06 soundtrack was absolute heat.

I played way too much EA Sports NCAA Football in HS and College and was definitely in line at Walmart at midnight to buy every July. Played in a few tournaments on the MSB forum before there was a gaming board. Pretty sure I was unbeatable on Xbox 360 in those. I had 3 roommates, 2 of which played CFB in college, and they loved having themselves in the game. One wasn't even on the rosters one year and lost his mind .

I haven't touched a controller since 2013 and will buy one in a heartbeat if NCAA Football comes to fruition next year.

Fun fact, I did make about $2k flipping NCAA 2014 during COVID before everyone caught on. I was buying all the old copies on FB Marketplace and paying for people to ship to my door and then selling on eBay. Good times.

It was a huge part of my life. I was consistently ranked in the top 20 on Xbox live for ncaa 12 and 13. I was in college and had a ton of free time and that’s what I did. No one ever legitimately beat me in that game.

I played the shite out of NCAA 2001 dynasty mode for PS1. By the time you got to 2018 or so bizarre shite like Arkansas State winning the natty would happen.

I used all sort of cheat codes that would basically give me all blue chip recruits every year. And you could redshirt guys and they wouldn’t go pro, you would have a 5th year senior QB ranked 99 at times.

I would simulate and play the championship game or you could create your own schedule and I would schedule all top 15 teams.

You could also create your own team and I used a made up school called Schnoopy State for some reason not sure how I came up with that.

We played the shite out of 2001 and 2002 in the dorm at LSU.

Absolutely loved it.

I loved EA NCAA football, I was never a huge video game player, but I played the shite out of this.

Was it the 2003 or 2004 game that you could pump up the crowd on third down and the controller would vibrate? I thought that was cool

Loved this game. Used to play it all summer while waiting for actual football season to start. Would play Dynasty mode until it wouldn't let me go any further and would have to create a new one

This sent me down a rabbit hole watching youtube gameplay trying to figure out what the first NCAA I ever played was. I think it was either 2000 or 2001 but man I don’t remember the graphics being that bad. I do remember waking up early as hell to play before school in 2nd grade because one of my class mates and I thought we were playing against each other somehow.

2014 was imo the best game ever but that can be skewed saying that it ended up being the last one and the best I ever was at a game. I got into the Top 300 on Xbox and would have been higher had I had the time. I’m sure there’s someone on here that I played at some point if anyone else used to hang around the lobbys looking for Top 100 matchups.

Good thread man brought back some great nostalgia

LSU was unbeatable on 2006 and was sneaky good in 2001

2006 you could go 5 wide with Skyler Green, Early Doucet, Dwayne Bowe, Buster Davis and Bennie Brazell and have JaMarcus roll out and hum it to whichever one was open. Brazell had a 99 speed and all the others were like 90-93. Xavier Carter was also an option

I only play rocket league & world of outlaws now days in my older age and some others with my kiddo, but loved the NCAA games. I stoped playing a lot because they stopped the series. I hope they do follow through with it and it’s like the old ones.

I loved the game and going to friends house and playing head to head, but once the internet took over these type games and rankings kicked in (largely based on best connection) I was turned away. I have a job and finally an important one around the same time so the check out was easy.

I remember telling my friends that the only two plays you needed to run were four verts and a half back dive with Alley Broussard

Anybody remember the NCAA March Madness Franchise? 2004 with Melo on the cover was ahead of its time
