The idiots in Gov are messing around and just like the Nutria will get worse. Just like the “nutria tail” program, their restrictions make it almost worthless.

Nutria are probably harder to get rid of since they eat swamp grasses. Then again, their pelts are worth a lot which is why they got here to start with.

Pythons have nearly cleaned out much of the Everglades mammal and bird population, but they can be baited. It would take a major effort with massive baiting, but I suspect they can be eliminated.

Of course, stopping the sale and import of pythons and other species that pose a similar risk would be necessary.

Same with wild hogs for the most part.
