I’ve never seen anyone try to start an L-S-U chant with a microphone at an LSU event and fail. She pulled off a first.

Her presence denigrates LSU baseball. The boos are a reflection of her contribution to society and have nothing to do with baseball. Kip would have been cheered, as he was in all scenarios throughout his tenure. Let the people speak..sounded like the whole stadium was disappointed. I don't like her at all. I just keep fricking quiet when those talking heads say their piece.
I don't like Roger Goodell but idiots booing him at the draft are just as trashy as the idiots booing tonight at Alex Box.

Jeezus fricking Christ. So now booing Goodell is mandatory or you support kneeling for the National Anthem? I don't like Roger Goodell and I don't like Broome.
I just think you're trashy if you boo speakers/guests/elected officials/etc at events designated to celebrate the accomplishments of others. It's not the time to do it. It's that simple.

If she DIDN'T appear, the Rant would be all over that shite b/c she was at the Lady Tigers Basketball Celebration. She had to be there. That's just how shite goes.
Don't get me wrong, I think she's a bad mayor and she should NOT have said more than she had to. She should have just Congratulated the Tigers and presented Johnson with the Key to the City. The attempt at a cheer was pretty stupid and tone-deaf.
