TAMU took their shot before Texas/Oklahoma were making their trip to SEC and they whiffed. It's only a matter of time right now for Jimbo before he's canned. Petrino and him seem like a nuclear explosion waiting to happen.
With Texas and Oklahoma in SEC now, TAMU is pretty much done and will be relegated to little brother just like before.

Can that really be the case in the SEC? Texas will not have the ability to force their will on the SEC the way they did on their past 2 conferences.

They'll be able to get who they want in Texas same with Oklahoma which impacts TAMU more than anyone. TAMU's only selling point was they were in SEC and Oklahoma/Texas were not. That's why they left because they were tired of being little brother. Going right back to what it use to be.
