Why on earth are you bringing a baby to Tiger Stadium?

Exactly.

1. The baby is not going to remember anything about the experience. In fact, the child will probably find the experience uncomfortable for many reason. Particularly if it is a day game with the heat. For instance, I had some idiot mom sitting near me at a day game last year (I think v. Tennessee) with a baby (clearly less than a 1 year) . You could tell the poor child was uncomfortable in the heat and its skin was getting red in the sun. I wanted to say to the parents...particularly the mom..."what the frick is wrong with you?" The poor child is overheating and getting sunburnt. Be an adult. Take him home."

2. If you are a remotely responsible parent, your focus will be on the needs of the child first and the game second. The child doesn't know or care he/she is at a football game. It's needs, comfort, feeding, diaper changes, etc are the only thing it is concerned with. That being the case, you're not really going to be able to pay attention to what is going on in the game to any appreciable degree or consistency. So why be there? You can just watch the game from home with the baby (likely) comfortably resting and actually watch more of the game.

I'm pretty sure the dumbasses that take babies do so SOLELY as a means of generating attention for themselves. Just like taking a puppy somewhere. The baby isn't watching the game and doesn't want to be there. So attending the game with the baby cannot be for the baby's benefit.

I get it. Sometimes you can't find a babysitter. But that's part of being a parent. There are going to be times you can't do something you might otherwise want to do because it is not in the best interests of the child.
