I've done a lot of painting of houses----interior and exterior and my 2 go-to paints are Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore.
Both offer a few different lines of product from Rental Grade for quick repaints to freshen up to rent again to their top of the line products.
I stick to the top of the line stuff or maybe one grade below depending on what is being painted, kids involved, pets, etc.
Plus their stuff comes in different sheens from basic flat to a semi-gloss.
No good paint is cheap today, but you will find if using the cheaper paints out there, you will be painting more coats to get the coverage, so it pretty much works out the same as far as cost when your time is figured in.
