Cliffs? I saw one headline that said it alleges he knew he was making fraudulent claims about the election being stolen, and that there is evidence his advisors were telling him his statements weren’t true.

Only problem with that is people get told shite isn’t true all the time and they still believe it. Seems like they’d need him to admit he knew none of it was true.

So you can’t just read it yourself? You need someone else to tell you what was in it?

Read the indictment please and then go listen to the 2nd impeachment hearings the Senate conducted where they refused to impeach him for Jan. 6th.

No fan of Trump's, Jonathan Turley's initial assessment:

Special Counsel Jack Smith just issued the first criminal indictment of alleged disinformation in my view. If you take a red pen to all of the material presumptively protected by the First Amendment, you can reduce much of the indictment to haiku...

A substantial number of trump-appointed judges seem to disagree with you. In fact, this indictment alleges that even Trump disagrees with you, and lied to you knowing you’ll drink what ever koolaid daddy mixes up for you.

I agree - they'd need to have at least SOME "mens rea" statement or confession or other abject demonstration of an attempt to "steal" something you know isn't yours.

Since he has various advisors who evidently told him it was not possible, or that he had really lost, or that he shouldn't even try, I wonder if he may have stumbled into some Trumpism like "yeah but I think we can outfox them anyway." < would that be enough to trigger the 'consciousness of guilt' requirement for a felony charge?

Certainly, just the "opinion" that he had been cheated could not be the only element of the charge - would he not have had to commit some other 'crime' not associated with trying to 'redo' the election, like breaking and entering, or planting false evidence, or ???

So it was completely normal for every single swing state to stop counting and then all magically get a vote dump that almost all for Biden and just happened to all go to Biden....Yep seems correct.

And I'm sure you believe the DOJ is imparting full and equal justice without any bias. You can live in your make believe world but don't act like what occurred in the 2020 election is just how all elections go.

So should we prosecute Fauci et. al. for pushing masks, vaccines stop the spread and Covid is naturally occurrence. How about Hillary, Schiff & Fang-fang’s butt boy for pushing the Russian Collusion Hoax? How about Biden for saying Hunter is the smartest man he knows and never discussed his business dealings.

I’m simply stating that many Trump-appointed judges decided that yes, it was completely normal.

As for “selective Justice,” if Biden, Obama, or Hillary broke the law, bring charges against them too for all I care. I think every single politician is a crook. But whataboutism doesn’t exonerate Trump from his crimes if, after trial, he’s found guilty.

Just another tool to convince the simple minded people there was no fraud.

They laid the groundwork in Michigan by charging the (mostly elderly) alternate electors a few weeks ago. Not to mention holding J6 people without bail indefinitely.

We are North Korea.

The problem with this is heresy. Last time I checked, it doesn't hold up in court.

No. They didn't.

Not a single federal court addressed these claims on the merits. Every one was scuttled procedurally, primarily on standing.

In a conversation with Pence DJT
acknowledges that the fraud claims weren’t true and tells Pence that he’s “too honest”.
