He would have gotten away if it wasn't for those meddling kids.

Daniel Richter (33) of Walker, Skyler Williams (17) of Denham Springs, and Tyler Ashpaugh (20) of Denham Springs, to work. The three dug a grave for Tahereh's body and left for her house, where they injected her with insulin.

The three men were tracked with their phone records and subsequently connected to Hamid by the investigators. They pleaded guilty to reduced charges of manslaughter during their trial.

Is that really all it takes to convince three dudes to murder someone? $3K a piece? That’s kind of terrifying.

She disrespected his family name. She probably would've been killed anyway once she got to Iran. He wasn't going to let her make it back home and disgrace his family.

That's the guy who owned Import One on Airline near the bowling alley.
He 100% did what he's going to jail for.

He had some locations in Metairie, Lafayette, and Lake Charles too. He had a nice little empire going.

Just found the Dateline NBC episode on Peacock. It aired a few weeks ago. Strange how many people I recognize.

I just listened to the audio version on spotify.

The son Hamed's accent was amusing. I don't think I've ever heard an Iranian/Cajun hybrid accent.

It's crazy what people will do their ex's when money is involved. My dad had a customer whose wife ran over and killed him with her car after a divorce.
