Alabama completely stomped the shite out of Notre Dame in that title game. It was remencint of the 95 Nebraska beat down of Florida in the championship.

Yeah yeah I know it’s easier to recruit at LSU. Never said it wasn’t. He was pulling in top 10 recruiting classes at ND. I never said Kelly was a bad coach. I said that comparing a college head coach to an NFL quarterback is dumb.

There is nothing reasonable about saying anything even halfway negative about Kelly as a coach. His career has been elite and there is no way around it. He won 2 DII national championships and was named DII national coach of the year 2x. He has been named D1 national coach of the year 3x. He reached a BCS national title game and made the CFP 2 other times. He has been named conference coach of the year 5x all together in the ACC (COVID year), Big East, and the Gliac (DII). He won conference championships in those 3 conferences and also in the MAC and MIFC( DII) for titles in 5 different conferences. He then wins the SEC West and beats Alabama in his first season at LSU. Even without a D1 national title that is a top 20 all time resume probably close to top 10

And before you go with your freaking stupid arse, dick and Doug, statistics like Drew Brees had as well as a lot of the other quarterbacks during this last two decades, look at yards per completion for him. Also think about the fact that he did that with not much help from the defense. I hate the stupid kids with their stupid arse statistics for today’s game versus that game in the early mid 80s and 90s. It was a predominant play action pass game much different than it is today.
It was the least sacked quarterback in the history of the NFL. That wasn’t only because of his Oline line.
Quickest release EVER for an NFL QB.
